Right now you are thinking like the people of old who thought they needed a king…You do not need a king; you need Me! An earthly king is a crutch, someone to lean on when people refuse to lean on Me. I gave my people long ago a king because they were weak and thought they couldn’t manage without a person to lead them. I gave them what they wanted because I didn’t want them to stray and go completely out on their own. These people were like sheep who whould have gone astray without a king because they were not closely following the Great Shepherd. But you are not like one of these. You have been redeemed by My Blood, know My precepts, and are filled with My Holy Spirit. You do not need anyone else to lean on beside Me! You are Mine, and I will keep you, sustain you, and tell you where to put your feet. Walk together in sync with Me, and I will guide you and be your constant companion and friend. You can tell Me anything! I will work everything concerning you for your good and lead you into all Truth. Lean on Me, and I will satisfy your soul in ways you never expected; My ways will surprise you, delight you, and fill the vacant spaces in your life! Remember that, underneath you, My everlasting arms are always holding you. I love you in so many ways that no person on earth could ever satisfy!
